Episode 25: Three Minutes Of Life And Death
Sakura managed to destroy “The Third Kazekage” puppet on the previous 24th episode, but Sasori’s still has a few tricks up sleeve. And although Sakura’s managed to avoid a deadly blow from the Iron Sand’s poison, she and Chiyo must defeat him in within three minutes before the antidote wears off and they are vulnerable to Sasori’s attacks. Can they defeat him in time?
Episode 24: The Third Kazekage
Sakura and Grandma Chiyo have to defeat “The Third Kazakage”. Naruto and Kakashi are still following Deidara, and Team Guy fights their clones. Sakura remembers her training with Tsunade when she was taught to observe an enemies’ weakness and dodge their attacks. With a final attack of the Third Kazekage’s puppet, Sasori attempts to kill the seemingly helpless Sakura, only to discover at the last second that it was a ruse. Somehow immune to the effects of the poison, Sakura destroys his puppet with a single punch at the last second.
Episode 22: Chiyo’s secret skills
Sakura manages to escape the poison gas cloud by using an explosive scroll. Chiyo calls forth “Mother” and “Father” puppets to fight Sasori and the Third. Mother and Father manages to hold down the Third for a while. Sasori releases the Third’s secret technique: Iron Sand. Meanwhile, Team Guy are having trouble fighting the clones and are getting tired from battling. Naruto and Kakashi manage to avoid Deidara’s clay bombs and keeps up with him.
Episode 21: Sasori’s Real Face
With Sasori’s puppet destroyed, he revels himself to Chiyo and Sakura, looking still young when he first left his village twenty years ago. As a further bit of nostalgia, he produces a summoning scroll and calls forth the Third Kazekage, whom Sasori has made into a puppet. Using its weapons, which are even more dangerous than Hiruko’s, Sasori is able to catch Sakura in a poison gas cloud. Meanwhile, Kankuro, Temari’s team, and Ebizo make their way to the Kaktsuki hideout.
Episode 20: Hiruko vs the Two Kunoichi
Grandma Chiyo revealed to Sakura the only way to defeat Sasori is to attacked it close range while avoiding his tricks and traps. Sakura able to destroyed Sasori’s shield leaving him into his real form and it’s where the real battle begins. Meanwhile, Naruto and Kakashi both standing still facing Deidara, Naruto launched his attack but was able to dodged by Deidara quick move. Deidara used his explosive art attack against Kakashi, Kakashi countered with his kunai and was able to stop it. Back in the cave, both Chiyo and Sakura are ready to face the real Sasori.
Episode 19: Traps activate! Team Gai’s enemies
Each of the members of Team Gai individually fights with an exact clone of himself/herself, created as a trap by Akatsuki. Deidara takes Gaara’s body outside of the cavern (making Sasori quite angry) and Naruto and Kakashi follow Deidara. Chiyo begins to fight against Sasori by using her “flying blade manipulation” technique. Sakura, who is worried about fighting Sasori, is told to leave the fight just between Chiyo and Sasori.
Episode 18: Break in! Button Hook Entry
Team Guy ( Maito Gai, Rock Lee, Neji Hyuga, and Tenten) and Team Kakashi find out there is a barrier protecting the Akatsuki hideout, being generated by 5 forbidden tags in the area. Team Guy removes the tags and disables the barrier allowing Team Kakashi to enter the hideout. Meanwhile all the Akatsuki members have left the hideout except for Deidara and Sasori, who are supposed to take care of the intruders.
